Hokrain is a small and portable audio player which is not only lightweight and fast, but customizable in several ways.
Starting off running the program, just select a folder from which you would like to play files from. Hokrain will list any of the supported formats but you're most likely going to be playing MP3 files. Aside from MP3, this audio player also supports WAV, MAC, WMA, FLAC, MP4, AAC, OGG and others.
The interface here isn't beautiful, but it isn't ugly either. If you don't really like the default layout (Dark Modern), you can always change it by selecting a different skin from the program preferences; There's Dark Flat, Dark, Windows 2000, Windows XP and Light. None of them resemble Windows 7 or Windows 8 modern UIs. Other visual options are also configurable from the General tab of the settings.
From the preferences, you may also customize Hot Keys from the Hot Keys Manager.
The bottom line is that Hokrain is a very capable and lightweight portable audio player which supports most, if not all of the audio formats you may have.
